10. George Mells
Midfielder, Age: 27

George Mells is a central midfielder and a lifelong South fan. He played his youth football in the UK with Chelsea and Southhampton.

He signed his first professional contract with Adelaide United, where he won the A-League Championship in 2016. After Adelaide he had stints at Brisbane Roar and Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands before returning to Victoria.

After a couple of stints in the NPL he joined South Melbourne ahead of the 2025 season.
