Sinisa Cohadzic is set to coach his first League match for South today, but will have to do so without Brennan and Marshal who were injured during the week.

Although South won 2-1 against Bentleigh to progress in the cup, the loss of two key players will hurt as we face the high-flying Oakleigh Cannons.

Oakleigh have 12 points from their last 5 games and find themselves near the top of the table. Joe Guest has been their star player with 9 goals already this season in the League, which for those counting is the same amount South Melbourne has in total.

With Sinisa Cohadzic now at the helm, South fans will be hoping for a change in fortunes. Although in the last few weeks the team has changed its play style from Estaban’s “pragmatic approach” we still haven’t seen results in the league with our last NPL game being a 4-0 drubbing to Avondale.

Let’s hope Cohadzic can steady the ship. Today will be a tough game, and the club needs results asap to move out of the relegation zone.
