Three minutes into the game Port won the ball in midfield played and played through ball down the left wing. A one touch cross was met with a one touch shot and South found themselves down 1-0 after three minutes.
“How can a club be in a relegation battle and have 4 coaches on its bench and not 1 of them has ever coached a senior mens npl side? The way the team was set up today was armature hour stuff.” – Forum commenter.
18 minutes later after a lost ball in the midfield, Port’s winger touched it past the South defence and shot beautifully past Lopez to double the lead.

I didn’t go to the game (my Sunday team won 5 nil, thanks for asking) and I have no interest in watching any more of the replay.
Bonada started which is a positive I guess for the weeks ahead especially against Melbourne Knights away next week. At this point though the result seems pointless, with three teams going down this year, it’s hard to see us staying up without some sort of miracle.
