Jesse Daley is a Queenslander who joined South after playing youth football in various A-League programs. South provided Daley with his first regular senior football experience and he managed to make the most of the opportunity.

Daley played 29 matches for South in 2017 scoring five goals, including four critical goals in the club’s FFA Cup run.

Daley left South at the end of the season to briefly play in the NPL Queensland but then went on to play professionally in North American and in the A-League for Tacoma Defiance, Brisbane Roar and Cavlary FC, clocking up over 100 professional games.
