With simultaneous competitions and dozens of players, it can be hard to pick South’s lineup each week. Fear not! We’ve created this guide to help you understand how player rotations work.

If the game…

• is for the OPL – we will field our senior squad.
• is a dead rubber – we will rest our senior squad and only have 3 players on the bench.

 If the club…

• Has annoyed FIFA – we will name 12 players on the bench.
• Has posted a photo of a player on social media – that player will not play the next match.

If a player…

• Has work commitments – they won’t have signed for us in the first place
• Has a lot of friends and family – they will be selected for games we expect small crowds

 If the game…

• is nowhere near public transport – we will only send players who can drive
• Is near a tropical beach – we will only send players who can swim.

Now do you see? Managing multiple competitions isn’t hard, you just need to have some simple and logical rules to guide player selection!
