Milos Lujic was a Striker at South Melbourne from 2014-2018. In that time, he played over 150 games and scored over 120 goals.

Lujic arrived to South from Northcote City after winning the 2013 Victorian Grand Final. He had also previously played for Richmond, Altona Magic, Oakleigh and Springvale White Eagles.

However it was at South where Lujic made his biggest mark. In his first season at South he scored 24 goals from 32 games. His goal scoring helped secure South the 2014 Championship which was decided by a first past the post format that season. This saw South go onto compete in the NPL National Competition where they bowed out in the semi-finals.

Amazingly he continued to better this record, scoring 31 times in 2015, helping South to finish first on the table, but ultimately lost in the Grand Final to the Bentleigh Greens.

Lujic also scored a number of hatricks for South, six in total including a memorable one against Dandenong City in the final qualifying round for the FFA Cup.

In that remarkable game, South were down 4-1 against their lower league opponents before turning the game on its head.

With lest than 10 minutes of normal time Milos helped the cause by converting a penalty at the 82^nd minute and again at the 96^th minute to secure a stunning 5-4 victory.

Lujic attracted significant attention during his time at South, with many in the football community questioning why he was never signed to an A-League team. His quality was obvious and he will always be a legend at Lakeside.
