Cox played his early senior football in Scotland for both Forfar Athletic in Scottish League Two and for the B team of Scottish Premiership side St Johnston. He then joined NNSW side Broadmeadow where he shone in the Australian Championship. South signed him ahead of the OPL where Cox made an instant impact, scoring four goals and managing four assists. Over the course of the season this dangerous left winger has grown into the squad offering flair and excitement in attack.
