South Melbourne successfully managed overlapping competitions to post an impressive NPL season. The club finished 4^th on the ladder and made it to the Preliminary Final. Here are the top moments from the competition.

1. Late in the season, South faced the runaway ladder leaders Oakleigh and managed a surprise 2-1 win with goals from Yoo and Jankovic.
2. Against Green Gully, South were forced to field a team of mostly U23s due to OPL commitments. The kids managed to snatch a memorable 1-0 win with the winning goal from Saristavros.
3. The Big Show away to Preston delighted travelling fans with South sealing a convincing 3-0 win to tame the Lions!

South had 15 scorers during the NPL season with Jordi Swibel topping the list with 5 goals.
